Fabrizio Morbini

I'm a researcher in artificial intelligence; I'm interested in efficient automated reasoning, knowledge representation, planning, natural language understanding and automatic knowledge extraction.
Currently, i'm mostly working in dialogue management and natural language understanding. I'm in particular interested in generation of logic form from text and tools to support building logic based NLU modules so that they can be as easy to create and use as commonly used classifier based NLU systems.
I was also involved with the Metaphor program at ISI focusing on software development for knowledge engineering and natural language processing.
In the past I've worked on the DISCOPLAN system and on EPILOG. I've worked also on machine learning and information extraction in medical domains and on in car dialogue systems mostly during a couple of internships at Bosch Research and Technology Center.
