Transonics
This project was a collaboration with USC's SAIL Lab, ISI, and HRL Labs to build a speech to speech translator for medical interviews. Using this system, an English speaking doctor can communicate with a Farsi speaking patient and carry out the medical diagnosis. The system is composed of many modules, viz. automatic speech recognizer, machine translation, dialogue manager, GUI and speech synthesis.
